About South Central Wisconsin Archers

More Than 40 Years of Archery & Community

A place to shoot. A place to compete. A place to belong.

South Central Wisconsin Archers has been part of the Monroe community for more than four decades.

What began as a group of people with a shared passion for archery has grown into a club serving archers throughout Monroe and the surrounding communities.

Over the years, SCWA has expanded its facilities, programs and opportunities while staying true to the same goal: promoting the sport of archery and creating a welcoming place for people to enjoy it.

Today, members participate in leagues, tournaments, recreational shooting, youth programs and competitive archery.

OUR CLUB

A Place for Every Archer

Whether you're interested in recreational shooting, leagues, competition, youth archery or simply meeting other people who enjoy the sport, SCWA offers opportunities to get involved.

Our indoor facility includes a clubroom, kitchen, bow-setup room, and restrooms.

Indoor range:

  • 15 lanes at 20 yards

  • 4 lanes at 10 yards

  • 8 rolling backstops for other distances

Leagues control the range during scheduled league times. Open shooting is allowed only when it doesn’t conflict with scheduled activities.

Logbook:

  • Located just inside the indoor range door. Sign in and out and note the reason (meeting, open shooting, league).

  • Open shooting fees are recorded in the logbook. Fee schedule is posted next to the logbook. Pay after shooting.

Open shooting fees: $2 for first hour, $1 each additional hour

Members in good standing may have a key to the 10th Street entrance and the clubroom door combination.

4H program:

  • 4H uses the indoor range for archery during April–June, providing income and promoting the sport.

  • 4H dates and times will be posted at the indoor range during that season.
