S3DA Youth Program

S3DA SHARPSHOOTERS TEAM

Taking Youth Archery to the Next Level

As our youth program has grown, we've seen more and more young archers looking for opportunities to continue developing their skills, shoot throughout the year and compete at a higher level. That need led to the creation of the S3DA Sharpshooters Team.

The Sharpshooters are a group of dedicated young archers who have a passion for the sport and want to take their skills beyond our regular youth program. Team members have the opportunity to practice year-round and compete in local, state, and national S3DA tournaments.

The team is currently in its second year and has already made a tremendous impact on our young archers and the community. Our athletes have competed in local S3DA events as well as State and National S3DA tournaments, gaining valuable experience both on and off the range.

Experienced Coaching

Our Sharpshooters are coached by Bob Ruchti, Josh & Brittany Binger, who have completed the required training and certification through S3DA at the state and national levels. Together, our coaches bring more than 100 combined years of archery experience to the program. Their goal is simple: to help young archers improve their skills, build confidence, learn good sportsmanship, and develop a lifelong appreciation for the sport.

The team currently includes 14 archers, with room to grow to approximately 16 athletes. Team members range in age from 8–18 years old. S3DA participation continues through high school, with athletes graduating from the program after high school.

A Community Behind Our Kids

Our youth programs would not be possible without the incredible support of the South Central Wisconsin Archery Club, our coaches, volunteers, families, and local businesses.

We are truly blessed to have so many people and organizations willing to invest their time, resources and support into the next generation of archers.

Youth archery is alive and well in Monroe and the surrounding communities, and we are proud to be a part of it.

We're excited to see where these young archers go next, and we can't wait to welcome the next generation to the range!
